This opportunity offers a challenging, autonomous and rewarding role, working with a range of labelling products and solutions. Reporting to the VIC Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager - Labels will be instrumental in building and converting a state-based sales pipeline.

About you:

We are seeking an experienced, determined, resilient individual who can drive new business growth in the labels and consumables sectors of our business. A “hunter” by nature, you are the sort of person who can make a phone call to any company, meet the key stakeholders, and gain their buy-in. You will know your product range, be well presented, be an excellent relationship builder, and have demonstrated B2B sales experience in the labelling, packaging or related industries. Most importantly, you will also demonstrate the confidence and ability to present, negotiate, and close lucrative business deals while forging strong professional relationships. 


More about the role:

You will benefit from a variety of sales tools at your disposal and the ongoing support from a corporate team that drives marketing campaigns to ensure your success. Other responsibilities will include: 

  • Contact prospective customers, actively pursue leads, and qualify sales potential;
  • Manage a sales pipeline; balance short, mid and long term opportunities to meet targets;
  • Provide input into Business Development Plans for allocated territory and execute strategies;
  • Build and maintain specialised knowledge of products within the labels range.

Remuneration for the position will be set commensurate with your experience, and will include a base salary, on target and stretch commission, as well as car and fuel allowance.
